We depart Campton at 6:00 AM, with pickups along the way before settling in for the night at Drury Inn in Meridian, Mississippi. Rest up—New Orleans is calling!
Day 2: Tuesday, November 11
We arrive in New Orleans, kicking off the day at the flea market, where you can enjoy lunch and local shopping. Next, we step into history at the WWII Museum, one of the most immersive museums in the country. Tonight, we settle into the Drury Inn, our home for the next three nights.
Day 3: Wednesday, November 12
This morning, we embark on a 3-hour guided city tour, unraveling the rich history and culture of New Orleans. Enjoy lunch in the French Quarter, then dive into the magic of Mardi Gras with a behind-the-scenes tour. After dinner, the adventure continues with a French Quarter vampire and ghost tour—prepare for eerie tales and fascinating folklore!
Day 4: Thursday, November 13
All aboard the Natchez Steamboat for a 2-hour luncheon cruise along the Mississippi River, complete with incredible views and Southern charm. This afternoon, we glide through Louisiana’s mystical wetlands on a swamp boat tour. Tonight, savor an included Cajun meal, a true taste of Louisiana’s finest flavors!
Day 5: Friday, November 14
Step back in time at Destrehan Plantation, where the past comes alive in an estate that has shaped Louisiana’s history. After our tour, we travel back to Meridian, Mississippi, for one last relaxing evening at Drury Inn.
Day 6: Saturday, November 15
We load the bus at 7:30 AM and begin our journey home, carrying with us the sights, sounds, and stories of New Orleans!
