Day 1: Tuesday, August 5
We hit the road early, departing Campton at 6:00 AM en route to Frankenmuth, MI—a Bavarian-inspired village known for its unique charm. We’ll settle in at the Drury Inn, where guests can enjoy the “Kick Back” dinner or explore one of the many fantastic eateries in town.
Day 2: Wednesday, August 6
After a delicious included breakfast, we’ll travel to Mackinaw City, where you’ll have time for some leisurely shopping and lunch. Then, we embark on a 5-hour lighthouse cruise, navigating through the Les Cheneaux Islands—a picturesque chain of 36 islands in Lake Huron. Along the way, take in the stunning views and historic lighthouses! A boxed lunch will be provided onboard.
By 6:30 PM, we arrive at Mackinac Island, where we’ll check into the Lakeview Hotel for a two-night stay. Settle in and soak up the island’s timeless beauty!
Day 3: Thursday, August 7
Step back in time as we board a horse-drawn carriage at 10:00 AM for a guided island tour, capturing the best of Mackinac’s scenic landscapes and historic sites. The tour concludes at the elegant Grand Hotel, where a sumptuous buffet lunch awaits.
The afternoon is yours to explore at leisure! Stroll through the island’s charming streets, visit Fort Mackinac, indulge in world-famous Mackinac Island fudge, or simply relax by the water.
Day 4: Friday, August 8
At 8:00 AM, we board the ferry back to the mainland, where our adventure continues in Frankenmuth. You’ll have time to explore this picturesque town, and for those who wish, a visit to Bronner’s Christmas Store—the largest Christmas store in the world—is on the itinerary.
Tonight, we settle back in at Drury Inn for one last relaxing evening.
Day 5: Saturday, August 9
After an included breakfast, we begin our journey home, carrying with us incredible memories of historic sights, island magic, and pure Michigan charm.
