Day 1: Tuesday, June 8 – ✈️ Depart Lexington for Australia

We will depart Lexington and begin our journey across the Pacific. Sit back, relax, and enjoy meals, movies, and rest as we cross the International Date Line on our way to the Southern Hemisphere.

Day 2: Wednesday, June 9 – 🌏 Cross the International Date Line

Today is “lost” as we cross the International Date Line. We will regain it on the return trip. Rest, stretch, and prepare for the adventure ahead.

Day 3: Thursday, June 10 – 🏙️ Arrive in Sydney & Settle In

We arrive in Sydney, Australia’s most iconic city. After clearing customs, we transfer to our hotel and enjoy time to relax, refresh, and explore the surrounding area. Take in views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House as the city lights come alive.

Day 4: Friday, June 11 – 🚢 Sydney Harbour Cruise & The Rocks

This morning, enjoy a Sydney Harbour sightseeing cruise with stunning views of the Opera House, Harbour Bridge, and waterfront neighborhoods. Later, explore The Rocks, Sydney’s oldest district, filled with cobblestone streets, shops, and history. Dinner on your own at one of the many harborside restaurants.

Day 5: Saturday, June 12 – 🎭 Sydney Opera House Tour & Bondi Beach

Today we tour the world‑famous Sydney Opera House, learning about its architecture and cultural significance. Then we travel to Bondi Beach, one of the most recognizable beaches in the world. Enjoy time to stroll the promenade, dip your toes in the Pacific, or shop for souvenirs.

Day 6: Sunday, June 13 – 🐨 Featherdale Wildlife Park & Blue Mountains

We head west to the Blue Mountains, stopping at Featherdale Wildlife Park to meet kangaroos, koalas, wallabies, and wombats up close. Continue to Echo Point for breathtaking views of the Three Sisters rock formation. Return to Sydney for the evening.

Day 7: Monday, June 14 – ✈️ Fly to Cairns & Tropical Queensland

This morning we fly to Cairns, gateway to the Great Barrier Reef. After checking into our hotel, enjoy free time to explore the Esplanade, relax by the lagoon, or enjoy dinner at a local café.

Day 8: Tuesday, June 15 – 🐠 Great Barrier Reef Cruise & Snorkeling

Today is a highlight of the entire trip. We board a luxury catamaran for a full‑day excursion to the Great Barrier Reef. Enjoy snorkeling, glass‑bottom boat viewing, marine presentations, and a tropical buffet lunch. Experience one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World up close.

Day 9: Wednesday, June 16 – 🚡 Kuranda Scenic Railway & Skyrail Rainforest Cableway

Travel aboard the historic Kuranda Scenic Railway through lush rainforest, waterfalls, and mountain passes. Explore the village of Kuranda before returning via the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway, gliding above the treetops with panoramic views of the Wet Tropics.

Day 10: Thursday, June 17 – 🌴 Daintree Rainforest & Cape Tribulation

Journey north into the Daintree Rainforest, the oldest rainforest on earth. Enjoy a guided walk, a Daintree River crocodile cruise, and a visit to Cape Tribulation, where the rainforest meets the reef. Return to Cairns for the evening.

Day 13: Sunday, June 20 – ✈️ Fly to Melbourne & City Highlights

Fly to Melbourne, Australia’s cultural capital. Enjoy a panoramic city tour including Federation Square, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Queen Victoria Market, and the Royal Botanic Gardens. Evening free to explore Melbourne’s famous laneways and cafés.

Day 14: Monday, June 21 – 🐧 Phillip Island Penguin Parade

Today we visit Phillip Island, home to the world‑famous Penguin Parade. Watch hundreds of little penguins waddle ashore at sunset after a day of fishing. A heartwarming and unforgettable wildlife experience.

Day 15: Tuesday, June 22 – ✈️ Return Home or Continue to Fiji

Those not taking the extension will fly home today, crossing the International Date Line and arriving the same day. Extension travelers continue on to Fiji.
