Is there a limit on the luggage that I may take on a trip?
Due to limited space on the bus, we ask each traveler to limit their luggage to one suitcase and one toiletry/medication bag. Each traveler may also bring a carry-on bag to stay with you on the bus. Some trips may have additional luggage restrictions based on hotel policies. In such cases, we will inform travelers in a pre-trip letter. Please read all trip information letters carefully.

Is there much walking required on G & M Tours’ trips?
Most of our trips require a moderate amount of walking. It is almost impossible to tour an area without some walking, as the bus often cannot park directly in front of attractions. Please contact us with any questions about the walking required for a specific trip. Some trips (e.g., NEW YORK CITY, WASHINGTON, DC) require more walking than others.
Are travelers required to rotate seating during a trip?
No, we do not require travelers to change seats during a trip. We believe it is best for travelers to keep the same seat throughout the trip, allowing them to leave their belongings in place. Travelers who prefer a seat toward the front of the bus should book early. Those who prefer a seat in the back should let us know. We try to seat groups together. For groups of three, one member must sit across the aisle or behind the other two.
Is smoking allowed on the bus and in the hotels?
Smoking is not allowed on the motorcoach. Most hotels are now smoke-free. When available, we will request smoking rooms for travelers who ask, but availability is not guaranteed. Most hotels have outdoor smoking areas. Charges for smoking in a non-smoking room will be the traveler’s responsibility. G & M Tours is not responsible for these charges.
What bus company does G & M Tours use for their bus charters?
We use Bluegrass Tours in Lexington for our bus charters. Bluegrass provides modern, clean, and comfortable motorcoaches with skilled, well-trained, friendly, and helpful drivers.
