Not Included in Tour Price: The tour price does not include meals and tips other than those specified in the itinerary, service fees for maids, waitresses, valet and laundry service, phone calls, room service, alcoholic beverages, and items of a personal nature. A gratuity will be collected at the end of each trip to be given to the driver in a lump sum from the entire group. Travelers are responsible for any extra charges incurred in their hotel room or any fees charged for smoking in a non-smoking room.
Reservations: Reservations should be made promptly once your vacation schedule is known. To secure a seat on a trip, a $100 deposit per person is required unless otherwise specified. Some trips may require a higher deposit. Deposits should be made payable to G & M Tours and mailed to reserve your spot. The remaining balance is due 60 days before the trip’s departure date. Travelers are encouraged to find their own roommates, but assistance will be provided if necessary. Single rooms are available for an additional charge as noted in our single price.
Pick-Up Locations: To ensure convenience, we pick up travelers along the route for groups of 5 or more. Please inform us if you would like to arrange a pick-up.
Clothing: Travelers are advised to travel light with casual attire in wash-and-wear fabrics. Specific dress requirements will be indicated in the itinerary if necessary. Comfortable walking shoes, an umbrella or raincoat, and a sweater or jacket for the coach are recommended.
Medicines: Travelers should bring sufficient prescription medications to last the duration of the tour, as refilling prescriptions while en route may be challenging. Medications should be carried in a purse, pocket, or personal carry-on, not in checked luggage. A list of all medications should be carried in case of emergency. Our coaches are not equipped to store medications requiring refrigeration.
Physical Disabilities: Any disability requiring special attention, treatment, or hotel accommodations must be reported to G & M Tours at the time of reservation. Drinking water is available on all coaches, and video systems are provided for added touring pleasure. We aim to take the most popular and scenic routes to enhance the travel experience.
Luggage: Travelers are encouraged to pack light. Two bags plus a carry-on are allowed. A jacket, light throw, and pillow are recommended for the coach. On longer trips, luggage will be delivered to hotel rooms and picked up before departure. G & M Tours is not responsible for lost or stolen luggage.
Cancellation Policy (Effective June 8, 2022): As of June 8, 2022, deposits paid on canceled trips are non-refundable. This policy is necessary due to the high number of last-minute cancellations. Deposits may be transferred to a new trip or to a family member or friend who pays for the trip in full. If G & M Tours cancels a trip, customers will receive a full refund. Once the tour departs, no refunds will be issued for missed meals or attractions, weather, or other factors beyond G & M Tours’ control.
Quality Accommodations: Hotels are selected for their location, comfort, hospitality, and style. We maintain strict quality control to ensure enjoyable overnight stays. Non-smoking rooms are requested as a rule, but availability of smoking rooms cannot be guaranteed.
Comprehensive Itineraries: Each itinerary is carefully researched and planned to include must-see sights and off-the-beaten-path places for an exciting and educational experience. G & M Tours reserves the right to modify itineraries to ensure smooth operation and a successful tour. Substitutions will be of equal or better value. Tour directors Mary and Kim will accompany travelers throughout the tour, handling all details for a worry-free experience.
Devotions: Each morning begins with a short devotion and prayer.
Proof of Citizenship: As of January 1, 2008, all motorcoach passengers must have a passport to enter Canada. A driver’s license is no longer acceptable.
